Southwest Technical equipment

Equipped with 12 sets of various extrusion press totally such as 12500t press, 2500t press, 2000t press etc, 10 sets of rolling mills as well as advanced die-making equipment, anodizing line and powder spray coating line. Among them the 12500t horizontal press, 1500t stretching leveling machine, 31m vertical air quenching furnace make up the largest extruding line in China.

Special Profiles Production Line

The main equipment of the line-8000t oil hydraulic press has a maximum extruding force of 9500 tons, in which configured with the equipment of advanced fast-heating induction furnace, various rectangular and round extrusion tools, precise on-line quenching device and automatic cooling table, controlled stretcher, precise saw for finished products, multifunction roll straightener, artificial ageing furnace etc.

The line has annual production capacity of 6000 tons, which could offer superior quality of large, flat wide, wall-thinning, top accurate of complicated hollow and solid profiles with circumscribed circle around f 600mm, as well as large-sized precise tubes.

Pre-stretching Line

Equipped with one set of 6000t stretching machine which possess the largest capacity and most advanced technology domestically, one set of 9-rolls plate straightener, as well as the incorporated spray-quenching furnace, ageing furnace, precise sawing machine, polishing and filming machine, water-logging detection equipment.

This production line is capable of producing Al and Al-alloy pre-stretching plates at the range of 2mm-200mm in thickness, 2500mm in maximum width, 12000mm in maximum length with annual output 10000 tons.

“1+4” Hot Tandem Rolling Line

Southwest Aluminium “1+4” Hot Tandem Rolling Line is an only new-built hot tandem rolling line among the field of world aluminium fabrication in recent 10 years. It adopted proven, advanced aluminium hot tandem rolling production technique in the world of today. This is a giant hot tandem rolling production line integrated with advanced technology and equipment of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical driving, automatic controlling and testing, process model etc. The construction of this line has filled a vacancy that there's no hot tandem rolling technology in China's aluminium fabrication industry. It makes tremendous motivation effect to the progress of China's aluminium fabrication facilities and technology.

The “1+4” hot mill has a maximum rolling speed up to 450m/min with annual production capacity of over 300,000 tons. It will mainly produce top accurate aluminium sheets and strips, such as can stocks, lithographic sheets, superior foil stocks etc, which are in short supply on domestic market and rely on imports over long period of time. The thickness accuracy, flatness (crown) accuracy, temperature accuracy, surface quality, metallurgical structure and production cost of the hot rolling finished products are reaching the international advanced level at the present time, which is highly competitive with the overseas transnational large aluminium corporation.
